What our Customers Are Saying...

Wildwood Concierge offers an amazing service. Brynn and Trista completely took care of my needs, and were thorough and timely. I would recommend Wildwood Concierge to anyone who needs a little extra help!
— Laura Bennett
I cannot say enough great things about Brynn and Trista at Wildwood Concierge. They helped me significantly reduce my “clutter stress” by helping me organize my office. I took over office space that still had the remnants of the previous occupant and I didn’t have time to clean what was left, let alone come up with a system of organizing for my new team. Brynn and Trista helped make the process simple and easy. I couldn’t have done this on my own and am so grateful that I found them!
— Aubrey Holt
Brynn and Trista have helped me pack up and downsize from a 5 bedroom, 3 bath home to a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. They have organized, packed up stuff to Goodwill, taken books to Powells and clothes to Dress for Success and given me detailed receipts. They have been constantly careful of my sensibilities and respectful of the culling of my cherished family items. They are prompt, courteous and helpful and I highly recommend them.
— Florence Reinerman

Spending Money on Time-Saving Services Will Make You Happier, According to Science

The  benefits aren't just for wealthy people, either, say the authors of a new study.  They say that money can’t buy happiness. But money can buy you free time, and a new study suggests that’s just about the same thing.

The new research, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, found that people who spent money on time-saving investments—like hiring a gardener instead of tending to the yard themselves, or paying extra for grocery delivery instead of spending time at the store—reported greater life satisfaction. That wasn’t only true for wealthy people, either: “People from across the income spectrum benefited from buying time,” the authors wrote in their paper.

better understand how money, time, and happiness relate to each other

Researchers at the University of British Columbia surveyed more than 6,000 adults in the United States, Denmark, Canada, and the Netherlands. The participants answered questions about how often they spend money to buy themselves free time, how often they felt stressed about time, their demographics, and their overall life satisfaction.

Even after the researchers controlled for income level, the results were clear: People who spent money on time-saving purchases reported higher levels of satisfaction with their lives. "We thought the effects might only hold up for people with quite a bit of disposable income, but to our surprise, we found the same effects across the income spectrum," said senior author and psychology professor Elizabeth Dunn, PhD, in a press release.

In fact, among the study’s U.S. participants, researchers noticed an even stronger relationship between buying time and enjoying life among those who were less affluent, the authors wrote in their paper. (They did note, however, that their sample included relatively few people at the “lowest rungs” of the income spectrum.)
